Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Manager to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing a large-scale construction project from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met

  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of multiple construction teams and subcontractors

  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and maintain quality control

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues

  • Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management and clients

  • Manage contract negotiations and change orders with vendors and subcontractors

  • Ensure adherence to local building codes and regulations in Qatar

  • Implement and maintain effective communication channels among all project stakeholders

  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management

  • Professional Engineering License or equivalent certification

  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in the Middle East

  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams

  • Proficiency in project management software and technical writing

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
