Job Description
AECOM is seeking Project Information Specialist II to be based remotely within the US .
This content management role focuses on document migration to and management within an Electronic Document Management System (EDMS, e.g. AODocs), assisting in the management of taxonomy, metadata requirements, and providing support for all central document control needs to teams using Google IP systems and database management systems.
Critical to the Role:
Work with key stakeholders to obtain business requirements in successful document migrations to EDMS applications
Execute bulk data migration and metadata update projects using custom tools and applications
Maintain data quality for existing dashboards, tools, and custom applications within EDMS applications
Primary Responsibilities:
AODocs Content Management, Data Migration, & Access Management [90%]
Lead and coach EDMS technicians on AODocs content management, data migrations and access control in line with KM best practices
Conduct gPOR readiness dissemination quality checks and maintenance
Manage migration processes (singular and bulk)
Perform requirements gathering
Outline and obtain metadata requirements
Process singular/bulk document migrations
Perform quality checks for metadata, folder placement and workflow status
Manage document update processes (singular and bulk)
Perform requirements gathering
Outline and obtain metadata requirements
Process singular/bulk document migrations
Perform quality checks for metadata, folder placement and workflow status
Monitor and advance workflow management and release cycles
Create document tracking through routine and query-based methods for content alignment, quality and placement
Quality Assurance [10%]
Manage and update KM Teams Historical Metadata Tracker
Develop and refine migration training processes, and template development
Support project PM in development of new process development, project development in Asana, trainings and documentation management
Compile and update Full Lists of gDesign documents, Doc Status and DDIs for dissemination in gPOR packages for capturing Data Center Intellectual Property Lifecycle
Conduct routine inspection and adjustment of AODocs documentation, folder structure and dissemination compliance
Additional Responsibilities:
Custom Dissemination
Perform requirements gathering
Review custom dissemination requests as needed for one-off projects, revisions, and development team needs
Process custom dissemination requests: ensure requirements are met and requestors have access
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree plus 2 years of experience with Google suite, specifically sheets and performing custom queries, and with routine data manipulation, cleansing and formatting, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong attention to detail, especially with metadata and taxonomical structures
Ability to effectively organize several projects at once within project management applications (Asana, Buganizer, Jira etc.)
Degree or equivalent work experience in information technology, computer science, business administration, construction management, psychology or related fields
Extensive experience in rapidly changing environments
Past enterprise-level experience with gSuite applications (Sheets, Docs, Slides, App Script, etc)
Experience with relational electronic document management systems (AODocs), taxonomy development and document tagging
Experience with construction documentation

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $56,546.09 - $96,128.36.
