Job Description

AECOM is seeking an analyst to support our Finance and Investor Relations team to be based in either Dallas, TX or Denver, CO.

We are looking for an analyst with strong financial valuation and communication skills to support the investor outreach, quarterly reporting, and strategic initiatives of our Corporate Finance and Investor Relations Department. The successful candidate will work with our enterprise Finance Planning & Analysis, Controllership/Accounting, and Financial Communications teams at the Corporate level along with the finance and operations partners within the business to deliver on our key financial objectives and investor communications.

A successful candidate in this role:

  • Develops, manages, and maintains an active dialogue with key internal finance and business leads to support the department’s analysis efforts

  • Provides support preparing quarterly earnings calls and presentation materials

  • Provides support for the department’s ongoing shareholder outreach and relationship management efforts

  • Tracks and monitor sell-side financial models and consensus estimates

  • Works closely with communications and other involved parties to develop a clear and concise message to investors and analysts

  • Develops a working knowledge of the peer group and provide insightful analysis on industry trends

  • Contributes content to quarterly regulatory filings and board presentations

  • Works with third party vendors to manage the company’s investor relations website, conference calls and transcripts, and investor data

  • Provides finance support for all new and ongoing departmental strategic initiatives

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business management, or related field plus at least 2 years of relevant experience in investor relations, finance, accounting, strategy, treasury, investment banking, or similar, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Previous experience with financial modeling and/or analyzing financials

  • Strong MS Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with similarly large, complex, global organizations is a plus, particularly publicly-traded companies

  • Interest in the Architectural, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry and the vital role that infrastructure projects have in developing the built environment across highway and road, public transit, passenger and freight rail, water system, power & energy, urban infill, and environmental mitigation and remediation.

  • Experience with financial valuation and financial reconciliation of publicly-traded companies

  • Excellent writing and communication skills

  • Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet or CapIQ is a plus

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $75,000.00 - $105,000.00.
