Job Description

As a result of several ongoing project wins across the region and based on our growth strategy, AECOM’s Civil Infrastructure (CI) are looking for a passionate and highly driven Civil Engineer / Project Manager who is looking to further develop their career in delivering civil infrastructure and multi-discipline projects.

Working with a high performing team, you will assist in winning, managing and delivering projects for a diverse range of clients from Local Government, and other mining / civil infrastructure clients.

Typical types of engineering projects for our CI / Industrial customers relate to: light vehicle / heavy vehicle roads, water mains, mine-site water management, water modelling, drainage, pumping/piping infrastructure, structural integrity and construction quality assurance.

We are seeking a future leader with an interest in succession and long-term growth in AECOM - an individual who is looking to be continually challenged. Working on a range of projects, this role will give you the opportunity to develop and shape your career.

What will a day in this role look like:

  • You will be supporting the team in winning, managing and delivering projects across a diverse range of transport infrastructure projects for private and public sector clients.

  • Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.

  • Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings.

  • Provide input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?

  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent);

  • Nominal 5 years’ experience in engineering

  • Experience with Australian projects and clear knowledge and understanding of relevant Australian Standards and Codes

  • Project management experience;

  • Business development experience (desirable);

  • RPEQ/CPEng (desirable).

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully winning and delivering Civil Infrastructure projects to a high standard, within budget and on time;

  • Passionate about developing yourself to be a future leader and initiator of our local strategy to grow the CI and Industrial groups capability;

  • Love working with people and passion to mentor
