Job Description

AECOM is currently seeking a Project Information Specialist III for our Coral Gables, FL location. As apart of our Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) team this person will work with Business Analyst to streamline reporting and develop tools that make our clients for effective and efficient.

This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Creating and maintaining a Data Model / Warehouse

  • Reading PMIS data via the API

  • Pulling data from Access, PeopleSoft, and other applications

  • Using P6 EPPM Reporting and Oracle Business Intelligence to develop reports

  • Experience in Excel, Access, SQL, and reporting tools like PowerBI, Quick Site, Tableau is needed to create reports/dashboards and support data analysis.

  • Analyze client business processes/requirements and develop corresponding process and data flows within the applicable PMIS.

  • Configure the PMIS application(s) based on requirements and business rules for new/existing implementations

  • Provide recommendations for process improvement and/or streamlining

  • Development of all reports set forth in the business requirements.

  • Attend team meetings to provide assistance in resolving issues, review progress reports and ensure assignment of new tasks.

  • Create and distribute meeting minutes, status reports, and required documentation

  • Provide recommendations and guidance to other groups with regards to processes, monitoring, and system requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS in Information Technologies, Business Analytics + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Experience with SQL and Visual Basic

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience working in systems integration, management information systems (or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with database management and Analytics

  • Experience with Data Visualization Tools (Power BI, Tableau)

  • Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Visio.)

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

  • Proven organizational skills with a proven track record in client satisfaction

  • API for PMIS applications, P6 EPPM, and OBIee

  • PMIS: Kahua, e-Builder, P6 EPPM, Procure, Unifier, InEight

  • Program skills

  • General understanding of financial reporting

  • Ability to effectively present and communicate information to customers, strategic business partners, and company management

  • History of recommending and implementing process improvements

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $27.04/hour - $45.00/hour.
