Job Description
AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager – NJ LSRP to join our Remediation practice. You will work with a diverse team of technical leaders and talented staff across a broad range of environmental disciplines delivering remediation consulting services to our key clients.
We are seeking candidates who will be able to contribute to the delivery of all phases of existing projects and development of creative solutions for new projects. AECOM conducts activities for utilities, industrial, commercial, federal, and state clients.
This position calls for excellent organizational and time management skills, flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and incorporate new skills. We seek a candidate with the ability to communicate (orally and in writing) effectively with members of the project team (clients, regulators, office and site personnel). The successful candidate will also be committed to the team’s success and growth; will rigorously apply safety policies and procedures; and will effectively manage the quality of field efforts and project deliverables within the bounds of the AECOM Quality Management System.
The job responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:
Oversee investigation and remediation projects in New Jersey as the Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP).
Prepare Remediation Action Outcome (RAO) documents.
Plan and manage site investigation and remedial actions.
Evaluate data from site investigations and develop remedial solutions.
Prepare proposals and budgets for client requests.
Meet and present data/proposals to clients and/or regulatory agencies.
Provide supervision and training of junior staff.
Assist with development of junior staff through ongoing mentoring.
Subcontractor oversight.
Prepare and review technical reports for regulatory agencies such as NJDEP and PADEP.
Perform quality control reviews of work developed by others.
Develop new business, including marketing and proposing to potential and existing clients, and be integral in securing and managing clients and contracts.
Work collaboratively with other teams within the Remediation department, and professionals across AECOM internal business lines.
Proactively identifies opportunities to increase project efficiencies, improve technical methodologies and add value to client service offerings.
Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects.
Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by flawless execution of projects.
Consistently completes project without write-downs or multiplier erosion.
Manages more complex clients and projects.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS in Environmental Engineering or related field + 6 years or related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) license
Valid U.S Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review
As a condition of employment, candidate must pass a Drug Screening
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
7+ years demonstrated experience conducting and preparing activities and deliverables
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
Experience in an Environmental consulting company
Demonstrated experience of team management and/or leadership
Strong project management and communication skills.
Strong understanding of remediation design, construction, and treatment system operation & maintenance
Seller-doer with business development and client management experience.
Experience with the breadth of federal and local environmental laws, such as CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA, etc.
Additional Information
Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
Relocation is not available for this position.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $120,000.00 - $150,000.00.
