Job Description
AECOM is seeking a mechanical Intern to be based in Cleveland, OH
This position is expected to begin in May 20, 2024
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.
Tasks include but are not limited to: computer-aided drafting using AutoCAD or Revit, performing calculations and field observation of existing conditions.
Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of science alternatives.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related field.
Must have completed 2 years of study.
Preferred Qualifications:
Assist in the production of all phases of the design process, calculations, generation of design documents and renderings, construction administration, and close out.
Knowledge or ability to quickly learn AutoCAD and Revit.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs, Adobe and Bluebeam.
Well organized and possesses an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $20.00/hour - $22.00/hour.
