Work, inspire and manage a diverse team of design professionals from around the world focusing on strong communication and team leadership abilities.
Lead design in a holistic process oriented approach based on a contemporary innovative methodology from the vision to built works.
Lead design and direct a diverse practice and project typology from multi-disciplinary projects articulating complex urban, ecological and social issues to innovative site specific landscape works.
Recruit and manage a team of designers in new office.
Develop landscape design plans in response to technical problems posed by a project’s scope. Develops innovative solutions to problems.
Serve as a technical design expert to the project, but generally works through staff to develop and execute design.
Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard landscape architecture techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications on projects.
Play a key role in projects, as a lead, project manager, or critical designer.
Lead projects that are medium to large in size: responsible for financial management of the project, ensuring key deadlines are met and that the project stays on schedule and staff are working together effectively.
Manage the presentation and report development for clients.
Play a key role in client management and client satisfaction.
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field required; Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture preferred.
10+ years’ post-graduate experience as a Landscape Team Leader / Lead Designer or Design Project Manager/ Director.
Ability to lead and manage a team of junior to mid level designers.
Excellent coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
Experience working on international large-scale mixed-use, commercial, open-space and residential projects.
Ability to conceive, design and communicate master plans and cityscapes from a blank canvas
Promising portfolio of built work which demonstrates technical capabilities.
Ability to lead a project team on small to medium-sized projects.
Strong conceptual ability highly regarded.
Good writing and oral communication skills both in English and Mandarin.
Portfolio attached is a must.
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Associate Director.
