AECOM Senior Emergency Preparedness Coordinator in Carlsbad, New Mexico

Job Summary

Nuclear Waste Partnership, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking a

Senior Emergency Preparedness Coordinator to be based in our Carlsbad, New Mexico location.

The successful candidate will develop WIPP Project emergency preparedness activities, applying specialized knowledge of emergency preparedness and situational response.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Management, Fire Service, Business, Engineering or related field with six (6) years of related experience, or

  • Associates Degree plus ten (10) years of relevant experience, or

  • High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of relevant experience.

  • Relevant experience would be in Emergency Management, Fire Operations, Active Duty Military, or other Incident Command System (ICS) position.

  • Due to the nature of work, candidates must be US Citizens.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two (2) years experience and expert knowledge of the Incident Command System and managing operations.

  • Documented evidence of successful experience in writing plans and procedures.
