Job Summary

Nuclear Waste Partnership, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking a

Maintenance Expeditor to be based in our Carlsbad, New Mexico location.

The successful candidate will perform administrative duties as necessary to improve communications, resource availability and work execution within the Maintenance Organization with special emphasis in the Surface Maintenance Department to support the large number of personnel and work scope. Specific responsibilities include; entering labor hours into CHAMPS on completed work packages, updating package location and status of Work Control Documents(WCD’s) in CHAMPS, maintaining maintenance reports and metrics, routing WCD's to the appropriate Supervisor or department for completion, identifying available resources necessary to perform work as well as other administrative tasks to continuously improve conduct of maintenance at WIPP.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate’s degree with two (2) years of experience, or

  • High School diploma or GED plus four (4) years of experience in a professional office environment or as an Administrative Assistant is required.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Must have good written and oral communications.

  • Due to the nature of work, candidates must be US Citizens.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business or other related field is preferred.

  • One (1) year experience with CHAMPS is a plus.

  • Previous experience with Work Control document quality requirements and record keeping is desired.
