URS/AECOM has an opening for a
Quality Auditor II in Kuwait.
This is a contingent position.
The Quality Auditor II performs internal audits used to obtain process conformance and performance feedback. The quality auditor plays a vital role within the quality management system by obtaining and documenting the results of audits that are used by the management team to monitor the status of the quality management system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of audits to include process based, ISO systems, performance work statement conformance, and special audits as required.
Responsible for the audit process consisting of review of audit criteria, development of audit plans and checklists, performance of audit with process owners and other stakeholders, analysis of audit results, and development of audit reports consisting of audit findings and recommendations for improvement.
Identify processes, situations, etc., where the organization is meeting requirements, as well as identify opportunities for improvement.
Identify processes, situations, etc. where the organization is not meeting requirements, and in such cases develops internal corrective action requests (ICARS).
Be able to assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action and preventative action for process and product related non-conformances
Performs follow up audits as required to ensure that corrective action plans have been effectively implemented.
Provide training, guidance, and support to subordinate Quality Auditors.
Assist Quality Auditor Lead with non-conformance trend analysis, audit scheduling, and audit report review as required.
Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.
High school diploma or equivalent.
5 – 7 years direct experience as a quality auditor on a related program.
Demonstrated understanding of basic auditing techniques and quality principles.
Must be a U.S. citizen and have a current, valid U.S. passport.
Must have an active, final Secret clearance.
Must be able to favorably complete customer and company background investigation.
Work Environment, Physical Demands and Mental Demands:
Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
Must be able to lift up to 50 Lbs.
Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor Certification is preferred.
American Society of Quality Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) highly preferred.
10 + years of verifiable advanced quality auditing experience in the U.S. Government contracting or Federal Government environment may be substituted for the CQA.
Recommended training: ISO quality standard training courses.
