AECOM is currently looking for a Business Systems Integration Manager to support its corporate operations at its Calgary office.
Provides daily supervision to two Business & Systems Integration Management Analysts.
Understands business process modeling and capabilities of the tools.
Manages delivery of assigned projects of different sizes and complexity.
Provides recommendations to optimize the outcomes of existing systems and improve current processes.
Analyzes, develops and implements improvements to existing manual and computerized operational procedures involving financial information processing.
Develops and documents operational and technical processes and develops appropriate solutions.
Liaises with the finance and operations user communities to identify and manage system priorities.
Defines business needs, application scope and objectives.
Performs functional configuration, standardization, modification and testing tasks involving but not limited to FTS’s ERP modules according to new or changing business requirements.
Develops and delivers end-user training documentation and communication.
Defines, develops and provides first, second and third level end-user support programs and guidance to project team and end-users.
Defines, benchmarks, monitors and delivers on agreed service levels.
Adheres and contributes to IMS service and development standards.
Creates functional specifications and assists the development of team members in design and testing of interfaces, enhancements, reports and data conversions.
Supports and actively seeks ways to enhance the FTS Customer Billing Solution and Order-to-Cash (OTC) process through a combination of process based workflow and technical solutions.
Makes recommendations toward and works to maintain a solid control environment within the systems as applicable.
Solution design/governance in all projects related to ERP and manual finance operations IMS processes.
Evaluation, standardization and configuration of FTS’s ERP financial modules.
Initiating and leading cross functional design review sessions with business stakeholders.
Execution of decision steps in assessing options and selecting the best solution and execution approach.
Integration of training activities into system design.
Leading improvements in FTS finance IT processes through design innovation, training and business process reengineering.
Ensuring all documentation phases and sign off procedures are followed.
Completing all tasks within the given timeframe.
- Other relevant duties or projects related to finance operations as assigned by the GM Finance Operations.
Education and Experience
University or technical degree in MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, Commerce or equivalent industry related business experience plus a minimum of 8 – 10 years’ experience in Business Systems Integrations Management.
4+ years of experience in Oil & Gas and knowledge of collective agreements is a must.
At least 4 years’ experience in full cycle Business Systems Integrations Management engagements.
At least 4 years’ experience in leading large, multi-million dollar projects in a consulting/client managed environment.
At least 5 years’ experience in project management processes, methods and tools.
Intermediate/Senior level ERP FI/CO knowledge as a minimum. Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of integration points in Functional Matrix.
5+ years’ experience working in an ERP environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to clearly present information to various audiences in both formal and informal settings.
Excellent interpersonal and prioritizing skills.
Strong technical management and support skills, specifically able to work with IMS technical staff as well as end-users to identify and resolve business issues in an innovative manner.
Demonstrated initiative in recognizing opportunities for improvement and efficiency with a willingness to challenge the status quo.
Relevant business knowledge and ability to bridge technical teams, process teams and end-users.
The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment with critical deadlines.
Experience working in a team oriented and collaborative environment.
Regular travel to operational sited will be required for this role.
Experience in operational accounting or finance environment would be an asset.
