Job Description
Design of Mechanical installations for different assets such as: buildings, water treatment stations and industrial facilities.
Performing calculations on other mechanical installations, such as: sewage, cold/hot water and firefighting and HVAC.
3D BIM modeling in Revit of MEP installations on all LOD levels
Supervises and guides junior MEP engineers on HVAC and plumbing design/modeling tasks
Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
Prepares technical specification sections.
Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
Mandatory:
Bachelor’s Degree in Building Services Engineering
Master's degree or any additional postgraduate studies in a related field would be desirable.
Minimum 6 years professional experience in design.
Strong knowledge of at least 1 engineering modeling/drafting software
Advanced English language skills
Nice to have:
Field related master’s degree or any additional postgraduate studies
Revit MEP skills
Common Data Environment familiarity (BIM 360, ACC or similar)
Clash detection software experience
BIM Management/Coordination experience
Technical Due Diligence experience
Experience in people management
Experience in project management
