Job Description
We are currently hiring for the role of GIS Specialist I for project -based role , starting in January 2025 and finishing in May 2025, with the possibility of extension.
The person who joins our team on this position will be incorporating geographical features with tabular data in order to map, analyze, and assess real-world problems, and providing Geospatial and Data Analysis solutions internally and for external clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
Works under direct supervision.
Uses concepts, practices and procedures to extract and provide GIS data to clients.
This level is typically provided data from a level II or III for database entry and/or providing basic figures for projects and presentations. Level I is an end user of designs completed by level II and III.
Performs tasks of limited scope and complexity.
Qualifications
Produce drаwings, layouts, sketchеs, mаps, аnd grаphics of enginееring dеsigns using computer-aidеd drаfting softwаre
Rеquirеs a good working knowledge of ArcMap Pro
ArcGIS -Esri suite of software
Produce detailed, high-quality cartographic products and accompanying reports
Compile, manipulate and refine geographic data from a variety of sources including, but not limited to field observation, digital aerial photography, and existing maps
Perform regular quality control checks of GIS Data and non-spatial databases
