Job Description
Due to significant contract awards within our ANZ Water business, we are looking for an experienced Design Manager – Dams to join our team.
These awards bring a secure 10-year pipeline of work and with AECOM’s flexibility, you can base yourself in any of our offices in the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast or Brisbane.

What will a day in this role look like:
Utilise your dams expertise, leadership, coordination and communication skills to successfully engage and guide project delivery teams, whilst working with closely with end clients and contractors
You will be responsible for overall design delivery including having the ultimate carriage on any design project decisions
Ensure dams projects are delivered within the constraints of quality, time and budget
Work collaboratively with leaders across our ANZ team for delivery of the projects, as well as assisting with project resourcing and business initiatives.
Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?
Relevant tertiary qualifications and consulting experience
Experience in dams engineering and design, desirable 8 years + Proven track record in the successful delivery of large projects on time, within budget and outstanding quality
Excellent communication skills and high quality technical and non-technical report writing
Client relationship / management skills and experience.
