AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Scheduler for employment in the Boston, MA office.
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Development of construction schedules using Critical Path Method (CPM).
Develop Program / Project Schedules with input from project manager, designers, client & construction team
Cost and resource loading for planning, design, construction, procurement and move-in
Update the schedule contribute to reporting
Review and monitor schedules of other entities including, designers, contractors, etc.
Provide Key Performance Indicators from P6
Graphic representation of commodities and Earned Value
Produce Contract Variance reports
Schedule recovery investigations and risk mitigation recommendations
Provide quantity take-off's and estimate productivity for a wide variety of projects
Support Delay Claims analysis
Support presentation preparation and proposals for new work
Develop Design Schedules for team use
Develop Construction Time Determination Schedules with the project team to assure project can be built within pre-determined time frames and phasing requirements
Review and analysis of Contractor’s Critical Path Method (CPM) Progress Schedules on various contracts for one of our major clients along with recommendations on the avoidance, minimization and mitigation of construction phase delays
Review and analysis of Contractor’s requests for contract Time Extensions
Conduct periodic construction project site visits to monitor project progress and assure progress schedule integrity, and participate in regular progress schedule meetings as required
Assist the Department Manager of Project Controls in special projects as necessary.
High School Diploma required
2+ years progressively responsible experience in development, review and analysis of CPM schedules
Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
Some practical experience onsite construction management
Practical onsite construction experience
Due to the nature of work, candidate must be a U.S. citizen
College degree in a construction related field preferred
Oracle Primavera P6 experience
Certified Primavera Training Course 102/106 preferred
