AECOM Mechanical Estimator in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Mechanical Estimator for employment in our Boston, MA office

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

  • Provide and/or coordinate full estimating services on all size projects and contract types.

  • Participate in bid presentations to clients.

  • Provide technical assistance and advice in negotiating contracts and pricing change orders.

  • Build rapport with potential clients and specialty contractors.

  • Reviews estimate packages to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to final bid submission.

  • Participate with corporate leadership and project management in determining what types of projects to bid, as well as help develop strategies and techniques for successfully obtaining work.

Minimum Requirements

  • 11+ years of progressive Construction Project management experience, which includes conceptual estimating and pre-construction work.

  • Appropriate experience would be recent and in a full-time, solely dedicated estimating or estimating manager position

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related technical field.

  • 5+ years in a senior capacity for a larger construction management firm working on multiple projects.
