AECOM Senior Engineer in Belfast, United Kingdom

Job Summary

Performs design work on civil infrastructure schemes

  • Scopes and oversees information gathering and undertakes and reviews reports and feasibility studies calculations.

  • Advises and checks cost estimates as part of outline business cases.

  • Reviews and checks drawings and design information

  • Provides guidance to engineers and entry level engineers.

  • Prepares conditions of contract and assists with tenders.

Minimum Requirements

Highly experienced Engineer with a broad knowledge and experience of designing civil infrastructure projects.

Experience of the following is essential:

  • AutoCAD and Civil 3D

  • DMRB

  • Drainage Design

  • NEC conditions of contract

  • Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)

  • Tender and proposal preparation

  • Project Management

Experience of the following is desirable:

  • Microdrainage

  • Retaining Wall design

  • MS Project

Candidate should be chartered or near chartered status with ICE or similar professional body
