Job Description

As an Architect, the candidate will be joining a highly motivated and proactive team, with multidisciplinary projects delivered across several geographies, with the potential to grow and thrive. Delivering diverse projects will provide candidate with the opportunity to collaborate with professionals working on different fields of expertise, improving their knowledge of the design and construction process. Candidate would take part of the complete project life cycle, from early proposal stages, throughout the project planning, set up and execution, up to project closure.

Under the direct supervision of a Project Lead, the candidate will contribute to the team with the following tasks:

  • Conducts space planning, block planning, and adjacencies in coordination with building program.

  • Prepares and revises documentation in various architectural phases including site plans, floor plans, building elevations, building sections, and details.

  • Coordinates building systems (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure compatibility with the design intent.

  • Assists in the evaluation and selection of building systems and materials.

  • Attends project coordination and meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants.

  • Interprets and applies building codes and requirements of other regulatory agencies.

  • Participates in the preparation of specifications and basic cost estimating.

  • Implements sustainable design principles into the building design and surrounding environment.

  • Supports Project Lead in development of material for presentations.

  • Participates in design critiques and pin-ups.

  • Assists in site analysis, research of concept, benchmarks, typology, and precedents.

Qualifications

ALL CANDIDATES MUST SUBMIT A PORTFOLIO WITH THEIR CV/RESUME

Minimum Requirements :

  • Architectural Master’s Degree.

  • 5 years experience in a similar position.

  • Proficiency in BIM environment and Autodesk Revit.

  • Proven experience with other design software (Autocad, Photoshop, Rhinoceros, …)

  • Well organized with the ability to manage time and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Strong design and graphics skills.

  • Experience in preparation of planning application documentation.

  • Ability to supervise and coordinate small teams.

  • Previous experience in Healthcare projects is desirable.

Languages

  • Proficiency in English, Spanish and Catlan.

  • Other language proficiency is desirable
