Job Description

AECOM Transportation is seeking a Program Management Coordinator in Baltimore, MD. This individual will support PMO leadership in the oversight and management of our client’s program, providing support for scope, sequence, and schedule management for transit system state of good repair, capital projects, maintenance, and expansion/enhancement programs.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain detailed project data and monitor status for projects and planned maintenance activities in the client program.

  • Support program and project level planning, scheduling and coordination activities.

  • Support and facilitate integration of capital project and maintenance needs.

  • Assist in oversight of program and project activities to minimize impacts.

  • Maintain the program of projects for client.

  • Develop an annual Calendar Year Coordination Plan capturing anticipated construction and maintenance projects with service impacts for the calendar year.

  • Prepare the 60-Day Lookahead monthly and facilitate 60-Day Lookahead meetings.

  • Develop Service Impact Agreements to analyze and obtain approval for project service impacts during construction.

  • Engage communication with mode Rail Operations and Operations Control Center and other client departments as needed.

  • Participate in design milestone reviews and facilitate operations and stakeholder input.

  • Provide support for capital funding in the program and project.

  • Assist in prioritization of requested work through scope/schedule review and analysis, and asset management/condition assessment data collection, review and analysis.

  • Support Work Block Coordination efforts.

  • Other duties as assigned by the PMO Deputy Director.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 6 years of relevant experience within the transportation and/or transit construction field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

  • Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of multiple phases of the project lifecycle (Initiation, Planning, Design, Procurement, Construction, Monitoring, Closeout)

  • Valid US Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10 years relevant experience in Engineering and Construction for Transit and/or Transportation projects, including some Project Management experience.

  • PE and/or PMP certification preferred but not required.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $120,000.00 - $150,000.00.
