Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a creative and highly talented Analyst - Disaster Recovery for our Austin, TX or Baton Rogue, LA location.

Typical Responsibilities:

The primary role of analyst is to assist the project team in monitoring progress in various aspects of a disaster recovery program.

Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Tracking production in various aspects of a housing program. This may include tracking homeowner applications, inspections, property reviews, and construction completion.

  • Perform on-site monitoring reviews (field visit), desk reviews (in-house), and special reviews (reviews arising as a result of unforeseen program events).

  • Assist in the preparation of reports or deliverables.

  • Maintain detailed correspondence or other documentation as it relates to monitoring or auditing events.

  • Preparation of weekly tracking reports identifying status of monitoring activities and reviews.

  • Provide additional monitoring and oversight support as assigned by the GLO.

Minimum Requirements

  • A four (4) year Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; relevant advanced degrees and/or certifications are preferred.

  • Advanced level Microsoft Office skills; ability to import, create formulas, pivot tables, export data and run reports in Microsoft Excel; ability to quickly learn new software applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AICPA sampling standards and 2 CFR 200.
