Job Description

What will a day in this role look like?

  • Driving technical excellence and exceptional project delivery including representation at Technical Practice Networks

  • Growing relationships with key clients, leading to winning projects and extensions

  • Driving collaboration, bringing innovation and pursuing best practice in our key pursuits, pitches, bids, pitches and proposals and projects.

  • Forecasting and efficient scheduling of resources and allocation of work tasks to meet client demand and expectations, as well as financial performance for the business.

Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?

  • Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or equivalent

  • 15+ years of relevant experience within transport engineering

  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within the transport discipline

  • Solid business development skills and the ability to build strong client relationships

  • Ability to set and communicate a clear set of actions with associated proposed outcomes and timeframes

  • Communicates with confidence; builds broad and deep external networks, uses a full range of mediums to inspire and engage others, demonstrates empathy, understanding and has exceptional active listening skills, elicits feedback and encourages others to speak up.
