Job Summary

Nuclear Waste Partnership, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking a

Central Characterization Program (CCP) Container Manager to be based at our Savannah River Site (SRS) location in Aiken, South Carolina.

The successful candidate will coordinate container feedstock between Host Site and CCP characterization activities. Inspect containers in accordance with CCP procedures prior to containers being introduced into CCP characterization processes. Maintain production reports and track the status of containers through the CCP characterization process. Participate in internal and external assessments as required. Assist the CCP Vendor Project Manager with other administrative and recordkeeping duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s degree with four (4) years of related experience, or

  • High School Diploma or GED with eight (8) years of experience is required.

  • One (1) year working at a Department of Energy (DOE) Nuclear facility is mandatory.

  • Due to the nature of work, candidates must be US Citizens.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency working with spreadsheets is preferred.

  • Prior experience in a position requiring focus and attention to detail in a procedure-driven work environment.
