Job Description

What will a day in this role look like?

  • Consulting with Tier 1 Mining clients with a particular focus on mining infrastructure, materials handling and surface non-process infrastructure for brownfield and greenfield assets (specifically crushing, screening, bulk materials handling, pumping & piping networks and water facilities)

  • As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will provide study management and technical leadership across the team

  • Act as focal point for the client and the AECOM Design Team

  • Use your experience as a Study Manager / Technical Specialist to deliver technical outcomes and leadership to the Project Team

Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?

  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with experience for a consultancy or owners side organisation with a solid understanding of Front End Loading approach to capital project delivery

  • Post-graduate Qualifications in Project Management RPEQ / CPEng (preferred)

  • Experience managing Design / Engineering / Consulting projects

  • Well-networked with outstanding oral and written communication skills

  • Experience in delivering successful project outcomes from initiation to execution demonstrating commercial acumen throughout
