Job Description

Excellent technical knowledge in utilities networks covering both water, power and technologies (HV, MV, LV, Telecom, Streetlighting, ITS, ICT, potable water, waste water, storm water) etc.

Capability to read and understand the calculations.

Create Civil3D models as per the BIM standards. Expert user of Civil3D.

Knowledge of creating / updating the catalogues and part lists.

Generate Plan and profile drawings from the models as directed by the lead.

Minimal instruction on daily work and general instructions on new assignments.

Understands and executes the BIM Standards and workflows.

Develops and distributes prints and exports for team coordination & final drawing/model deliverables.

Uses Common Data Environment for information exchange like ProjectWise and BIM360

Performs QA & QC on discipline models and drawings to assure compliance with BIM standards and requirements.

Understands procedures (i.e. BIM Procedures) and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines, inclusive of Model authoring using BIM tools (C3D/Revit) and extracting drawings from BIM models and performing Clash Detections and Visual Walkthroughs (CDVW) in Navisworks.

Ability to create parametric library elements in Civil3D (catalogues, signage, and Assemblies) and Revit (families)

Excellent knowledge in managing Civil3D data shortcuts in ProjectWise and BIM360 environments

Ability to create templates and comply with project/client styles, line work, and naming conventions in both Revit and Civil3D.

Understanding of ISO19650 standards

Ability to understand the design process for disciplines

Ability to use and modify Dynamo scripts

Minimum Requirements :

Minimum of 10 years of experience

Worked in the Middle East based projects
