Job Description
Experienced in applying sustainable certifications systems (LEED, ESTIDAMA, MOSTADAM, Ceequal, Envision, or equivalent) on mega-developments and projects, particularly in the Middle East. Has managed and delivered at least 3 projects.
Provides innovative solutions to design team (water, energy, transport, etc) to support in meeting ambitious sustainability visions and targets of our clients
Is familiar with the local regulatory requirements (UAE /KSA) particularly in relation to sustainability (Dubai Municipality requirements, SGBC101, Abu Dhabi Environment Agency, NCEC, etc.)
Has experience in providing general sustainability and ESG advisory services
Understands the multi-disciplinary nature of the work and participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Can provide technical input into bids and develop detailed delivery methodologies and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
Manages project deliverables and scope within budget
Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
Prepares and performs quality control review of sustainability reports and associated deliverables including calculations, drawings, sketches, as necessary to the work.
Prepares technical specification sections.
Embodied carbon calculations and GHG accounting knowledge is a plus
Minimum Requirements:
5 to 8 years of experience.
Candidate must be able to provide technical input, advise and support the sustainability team on various project deliverables
Qualifications
BS in environmental sciences, environmental engineering or related field
MS in similar fields is a plus
LEED AP, or Estidama PCRS PQP, or Mostadam AP, or equivalent
