Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will support senior project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring various projects across our Buildings and Places practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met

  • Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or risks

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports and status updates

  • Support resource allocation and budget management

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to project strategy discussions

  • Assist in managing project scope, timeline, and deliverables

  • Help identify and implement process improvements

  • Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative work environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in project management or a similar role

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera)

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proven problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail

  • Effective time management and organizational skills

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

  • Familiarity with budgeting and resource allocation processes

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

  • Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
